Program

We are in the final stages of planning the 2009 Alabama Mining Institute... to be held September 28-29, 2010 at the Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama Campus, and you are invited to attend.

Anyone interested in mining, geology, mining regulations, mine construction and development, mine health and environmental issues, coalbed methane and related subjects should participate.

Professional engineers and geologists will be able to use the Institute for their Professional Development Hours (PDH) requirement. Full participation in the 2-day meeting will constitute 15 PDH credits.

Four technical sessions are planned:

Mining:

  • New/Updated Technology
